Guppies 101 / Guppies
Water comfort, safe participation, beginning breath control, supported movement, and foundational independence.
Swim levels
The Trident progression tracks give instruction a direction without making every swimmer learn on the same timetable. You do not need to choose a level before joining the interest list.
The Ages 3–5 and Ages 6+ tracks describe skill progression. They do not mean every swimmer age 6 and older learns in the same class. Trident separately considers age, developmental fit, goals, and lesson format when placing swimmers.
Guppies series → Dolphins series
Water comfort, safe participation, beginning breath control, supported movement, and foundational independence.
Growing independence, body position, breath control, floating, kicking, and short-distance movement.
Connecting breathing, balance, and movement with stronger independent swimming foundations.
Building longer independent swimming, multiple strokes, treading, safety skills, and stronger body control.
Developing stroke consistency, distance, and more advanced movement skills.
Refining strokes, turns, endurance, control, and readiness for more advanced swimming.
Balance series → Refine series
Comfort, breathing control, floating, body position, foundational movement, and safety.
Stronger independent balance, kicking, movement, and early swimming coordination.
Connecting foundational skills into more consistent independent swimming.
Building recognizable stroke technique, safety, efficiency, and distance.
Improving stroke quality, endurance, treading, surface skills, and advanced coordination.
Advanced stroke refinement, turns, endurance, and readiness for higher-level swimming.
Train. Swim. Advance.
Each level brings together the same foundations. Confidence grows through manageable challenges, useful feedback, and skills that connect. The progression stays structured while the teaching can change with the swimmer.
Advancement considers skill consistency, safety, confidence, independence, body control, participation, and readiness for the next step.
Families will be kept informed about progress. Our planned app will make swimmer skill progress and lesson payments easier to follow.
